What is Health Insurance?
Health insurance is coverage that provides for the payments of benefits as a result of sickness or injury. Includes insurance for losses from accident, medical expense, disability, or accidental death and dismemberment.
Individual Health Insurance Plans are available through Klamath Insurance Center. We can help insureds with direct policies or with a policy through the Federal Facilitated Marketplace (FFM). Many insureds may qualify for a subsidy to assist with health insurance costs.
These policies are only available during Open Enrollment which is November 1st – December 15th each year. In order to get insurance outside of Open Enrollment insured must have a special enrollment exception (i.e.: moved out of area, married/divorced, lost group insurance, etc). Contact our office to see if you qualify for an enrollment period exception.
